The Reception was also a surprise event;

As no one knew we were getting married we decided to announce the wedding at an informal reception. We told everyone that we were about to announce the date of our wedding (which we were) but no one knew that the date had already come and gone. 

A movie that I had made to announce the date had been made by me (me again!) to announce the date of our wedding. We were hidding in the bar next door until the film had reached the point where the wedding had vows had taken place. Then we entered!! to lots of cheers and applause. 

Ta Da!! 

We had the dinner at The Grasshopper Restaurant, at the Stamford Plaza.
